Alliance is dedicated to the emerging market for clean, cost-effective electrical generation resources. Our future projects in 2003 will, if desired by our clients, use advanced, fuel-efficient, natural gas-powered turbine generators fitted with Catalytica Energy Systems, Inc.'s Xonon™ combustion technology. By using a catalyst to oxidize the natural gas at a lower temperature than in conventional gas turbine combustors, the Xonon™ technology prevents the formation of nitrogen oxide (NOx), which is typically the limiting air pollution emissions parameter for gas combustion turbines. Alliance is pleased to offer the commercial launch program for the 11-megawatt (MW) General Electric GE-10 gas turbine equipped with the Xonon™ combustion system for use in DG applications. If our clients desire larger power system installations, our team can also quickly and economically implement DG projects using General Electric's LM-6000 or 2500 gas turbine generators.
